Gans2go: Excellent! We had the Christmas menu completely 2Go for 4 people and loved it. The meat was of very good quality, the red cabbage tasted excellent, the potato flour dumplings were really tasty. There was also plenty of chestnuts and as a precaution we had ordered an extra portion of sauce. We were able to make the Christmas days very festive without stressful cooking. All in all, really highly recommended!

Also very nice at lockdown times 👌 there is mulled wine, hot apple wine (which could be a little sweeter), children's punch (which is far too sweet 😆) and food to go! Worth a visit

Great Inn! Nice that it has been reopened and that it has been preserved in its original form. Part of Frankfurt's history is thus being written on.

Very good fruity and tangy apple cider from Bruchköbel and the food is quick and very tasty. On top of that, the service is very friendly and responsive. Thumbs up!

Excellent advice and personal service. First-class family celebration celebrated in the open pavilion - in beautiful late summer weather in the rustic courtyard with a beautiful tree stand. Great team, great atmosphere, very good value for money!

The food was average, the service attentive but tended to be rather unfriendly and no card payment possible, and that in 2020 in a metropolis. The beer garden invites you to linger. There are better alternatives in Frankfurt, but also in Bornheim, in my opinion.

After reopening, we visited the sun for the first time, glad that this great restaurant has been preserved. The service was great. Friendly, attentive and quick service, there is nothing to complain about. But the food was sometimes really bad. The cheese spaetzle were spurned by the children, and after their portions were taken over by two adults, it was understandable why. Drowned in a greasy cheese mush, they lay heavy on my stomach and even made my wife feel sick. The goulash was soft as butter, but extremely blandly flavored. Just above canteen level. The rest went like this. Those who do not have high expectations of the food and want to enjoy the atmosphere in the beautiful courtyard are in good hands here. But we are disappointed with the kitchen.

For good weather it’s a great place to have some good, as the outside area is really cozy. The food was also good and the price is ok.

I had been in the sun today with a good friend. I knew the old operator and it was always great. The new operator builds on the old values ​​exactly. Cozy atmosphere, fast and friendly service and good food. I will gladly come again.

Great evening enjoyed in the sun. Were there for the second time after the reopening and both times we had a great evening in a beautiful ambience on the Bergerstrasse. Particularly noteworthy is the food, mega fast and just delicious. The service in the sun is just great, we had fun watching the team during the evening, super organized and stands out from the others! We will definitely be back.

Once and never again. We were in the sun for the first time yesterday and we certainly won't go back a second time. The service was underground: after waiting about 15 minutes, we finally got the menu. The drinks were picked up 15 minutes later. Another 15 minutes later the meal. The food was below average.

Food very good, service very nice. Everything was full for a Wednesday evening. Great, keep it up. Always like to come back here.

Traditional restaurant on Oberen Bergerstrasse with a beautiful beer garden and old trees. The kitchen is terrific and extremely delicious, including homemade mashed potatoes. The staff deserved 5 stars !! I can recommend it all round.

I heard about the book The Beginner of Frankfurt, so I heard about this old restaurant in Bernheim. The dining environment is still historical and the atmosphere is local. The taste of the dishes can only be said to be very common. The pork chops with green sauce and the large rows of mustard sauce have not experienced the amazing feeling. It is also the traditional taste of the Frankfurters. Rustic and unpretentious.

Unbelievably tasty schnitzels! Good size garden. Recommend for apfelwein, nice garden!

This place is great for friends or family gatherings. The food and drinks are all good and the old Frankfurt atmosphere and surroundings is a beautiful experience for locals and visitors. Thumbs up!

Couldn’t have had more fun in a spectacular small Frankfurter restaurant! The service was great, the food was as well. Traditional Frankfurt dishes tied to good beer and awesome service. We didn’t have reservations but they found a spot for all 14 of us by luck. We had so much fun and ate way more than we should have. Bring euros, it’s cash only!
